South Dakota Soybean Association Appoints ASA Representative, Names New Director and Elects 2026 Officers

The South Dakota Soybean Association (SDSA) Board of Directors recently appointed Drew Peterson of Salem to serve as a representative to the American Soybean Association (ASA).

The board also appointed Ross Tschetter of Bridgewater to fill Peterson’s at-large position on the SDSA Board.

In addition, the SDSA Board elected its 2026 officer team, selecting the following soybean growers to leadership roles:

  • President: Tanner Hento, Avon

  • First Vice President: Brent Greenway, Mitchell

  • Second Vice President: JD Wangsness, Miller

  • Secretary: Jeff Kloucek, Scotland

  • Treasurer: Kevin Deinert, Mount Vernon
