SDSRPC and SDSA Welcome Kevin Scott as Assistant Executive Director

The South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council (SDSRPC) and the South Dakota Soybean Association (SDSA) welcome Kevin Scott as the new assistant executive director for both organizations. Scott will transition into the executive director role in July.

Scott is a soybean and corn farmer near Valley Springs, South Dakota, and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the soybean industry. He previously served as president of the South Dakota Soybean Association and as president of the American Soybean Association (ASA). During his tenure with ASA, Scott held several leadership positions, including secretary, vice president, and chairman. He also served on the national U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) board, the Ag Rail Coalition, and as a liaison to the United Soybean Board.

Scott has farmed for 45 years alongside his wife, Jannell. Together, they have six children and six grandchildren.
