South Dakota Soybean Association Hosts Annual AgOutlook Event at Ramkota Exhibit Hall

Sioux Falls, SD — The South Dakota Soybean Association (SDSA) invites farmers, agribusiness professionals, and community members to the 20th annual AgOutlook event on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall, 3200 W Maple St, Sioux Falls. AgOutlook offers a dynamic day of learning, networking, and resources to help participants prepare for the year ahead. The event includes over 75 exhibitors, a silent auction, engaging speakers, prizes, and complimentary meals.

Event Highlights

8:30 a.m. – The day opens with insights on estate and succession planning from Jayna Voss and Bobbi Thury, Attorneys and co-founders of Legacy Law Firm, P.C.in their presentation “Protecting the Farm from the IRS, Nursing Homes, & Family Disasters.”

9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Trade Show showcasing over 75 vendors and their latest agricultural products and innovations. The SoyPac Silent Auction begins with the Trade Show and concludes at 4:15 p.m. - grab the perfect gift while supporting a great cause.

10:30 a.m.Andrew Pritchard, Senior Meteorologist with Nutrien Ag Solutions, provides a weather forecast and climate outlook for the upcoming growing season.

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Lunch is served in the Trade Show area.

1:00 p.m.Matt Erickson, Agricultural Economic and Policy Advisor with Farm Credit Services of America, discusses economic trends and policy updates affecting agriculture.

3:00 p.m.Damian Mason presents “The “Ations” of Agriculture,” a look at emerging strategies in farm business.

4:00 to 5:00 p.m. – The day concludes with a social hour in the Trade Show area, featuring hors d’oeuvres and drinks, along with door prizes and announcements for silent auction winners (winners must be present to claim items).

On Wednesday, December 4, the day before AgOutlook, SDSA will host its annual meeting from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Following the meeting, the yield and quality contest winners will be recognized. The evening will wrap up with the Uniting Agriculture Social, celebrating the South Dakota ag community and building connections.
