SD Soybean Groups Look to the Future at Dakotafest

Discover “What’s Ahead for Corn and Soybean Prices” from DTN Analyst Todd Hultman

Join the South Dakota Soybean Association (SDSA) and the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council (SDSRPC) at Dakotafest in Mitchell, August 16-18. The South Dakota Soybean tent is located on 1st Street, Lot 6. Come connect with industry experts and learn about the latest in soybean management.

On Wednesday at 10 a.m., SDSA invites farmers to attend a featured discussion on “What’s Ahead for Corn and Soybean Prices” from DTN analyst, Todd Hultman. Hultman has worked in commodity futures since 1985, and is the founder Dailyfutures.com, an online educational resource for futures traders. Today, Hultman brings his tremendous industry expertise to DTN.

“With the 2016 growing season coming to a close, farmers are already looking ahead to what may be in store for 2017. We are excited to offer Hultman’s expertise at Dakotafest and hear his take on what’s ahead for corn and soybean prices. We invite all Dakotafest attendees to join us in the South Dakota Soybean tent for this free discussion,” said Jerry Schmitz, farmer from Vermillion and SDSA President.

The South Dakota Soybean Research & Promotion Council will host free wood-fire grilled pizza in the South Dakota Soybean tent on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in support of animal agriculture. On Wednesday, attendees can join South Dakota Soybean for the annual Ice Cream Social from noon to 4 p.m. featuring free SDSU ice cream.
