South Dakota farmers can receive a rebate for using biodiesel blends on the farm. This rebate program is offered to help South Dakota farmers give biodiesel a try and discover how using this fuel that you help produce can benefit your equipment, your environment, your bottom line, and the economy of South Dakota.

Program Details

• Receive a 50 cent per gallon rebate for B20 purchased or 25 cents per gallon for B10.
• Each participant may collect the rebate for a maximum of $750 per participant. Previous rebate program participants are eligible for one rebate per calendar year. If a rebate was already received in 2026 during the previous program (for fuel delivered 1/1/26 - 6/30/26), participants are eligible again beginning January 1, 2027 for fuel delivered in 2027.

Eligibility

• South Dakota farmers purchasing dyed diesel for on-farm use. Clear diesel is not eligible for the rebate.
• Purchases must be made between 7/1/2026 and 6/16/2027.

How to Participate

1. Apply to the program through MEG Corp before ordering your load of B20 or B10. Rebate funds are limited and you must be preapproved.

• Enroll in the program by using this link to complete an application: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SDFarmerBioRebate27
• Watch your email for confirmation that you have been approved.

1. Contact your fuel supplier to order B20 or B10.
2. Submit your fuel BOL or invoice showing the date, gallons, type of fuel (dyed and biodiesel blend) and delivery address.

• Purchases must be made by 6/16/2027 and documentation received at the MEG Corp office by 6/24/2027 to qualify.

1. Rebate checks will be issued following completion of the quarter – farmers can expect rebates to arrive near the end of the month following the quarter end.
