NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  • Eligibility
    Biodiesel Blend Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open to legal residents of the United States of America and District of Columbia (except NY and FL). South Dakota Soybean Checkoff board members and employees in addition to participating advertising and promotion agencies — as well as their immediate family and household members — are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations.

  • Sponsor
    The Promotion is sponsored by South Dakota Soybean Checkoff (5000 S Broadband Ln # 100, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).

  • Agreement to Official Rules
    Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

  • Promotion Period
    The Promotion begins on 2/15/2024 and ends on 3/14/2024 (the “Promotion Period”). Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Promotion Period using the online submission form; entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will be disqualified.

  • How to Enter
    On-site: This method of entry will be available at [URL].

    Limit 1 entry per person, per email address and per household for the duration of the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

  • Prize Drawing
    On 3/15/2024, the Sponsor will select potential winners in a random drawing from among eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received.

  • Winner Notification
    The potential winners will be notified by email or phone call following the 3/15/2024 drawing. If the potential winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 business days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her or is disqualified for any reason, the Prize may be forfeited and the runner-up may be selected (by random if a sweepstakes) in his/her place from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. If a random drawing is required, only three (3) alternative drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. Obtaining the prize will be the winner’s responsibility; prizes can be picked up at the following location:

    Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm (Central Time).

    An alternative agreement to have Prizes mailed or picked up through alternative means may be made within reason if both parties agree to the alternate terms.

  • Prizes
    (2) $500 biodiesel blend certificates* for on-farm use

    Each winner will receive (1) $500 certificate; total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of prizes amounts to $1,000. Winners are solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes.

    * Certificate has no cash value and may not be exchanged; any attempt to sell the certificate will render it void.

  • General Conditions
    The Sponsor reserves the right to either (a) suspend the Promotion to address improprieties and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Promotion and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by South Dakota law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

  • Release and Limitations of Liability
    By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of the respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Promotion, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Promotion, (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion (c) any other errors or problems in connection with the Promotion. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event, shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees, penalties or other renumeration. The Released Parties are also not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking or by any equipment of programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages. Entrants release permission to the Sponsor to publish their image, first name and last initial and the image, video, writing used to enter the Promotion on the Sponsors website, broadcast product or social media channels. The Sponsor is not responsible for prizes that become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances and cannot replace lost or stolen prizes.

  • Disputes
    Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in South Dakota. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of South Dakota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than South Dakota.

  • Privacy
    Information collected from entrants will not be sold or shared without the entrant’s permission
