South Dakota Soybean will host Producer Shop Talks in area farmer’s shops this year. The events will be held Thursday, March 12^th at 10:30 am in the Sioux Falls area and Friday, March 13^th at 10:30 am in the Mitchell area.

This free educational event will include:

10:30 am: SD Soybean Welcome

10:30- 11:15 am: Soybean Panel Discussion

This panel will be comprised of representatives from both the Checkoff and Association. They will discuss what the Checkoff is doing for you, the benefits of Association membership, current research, and much more. Time for a Q & A session will also be provided.

11:15- 12:00 pm: Legislative Updates

Representatives will be present from the offices of Senator Rounds, Senator Thune and Representative Johnson. They will provide updates about happenings in DC and answer questions from those in attendance.

12:00- 12:30 pm: Speaker- Banker Best Practices

The keynote speaker will discuss best practices and tips for meeting with your banker in the upcoming year. Learn more about the information you need and how to be best prepared for these discussions.

12:30 pm: Soup, sandwiches and dessert provided by SD Soybean
