Submit Your Harvest Form for the South Dakota Soybean Yield Contest

Submit your harvest form by November 1 for the South Dakota Soybean Yield Contest. You can submit your harvest form online here. Remember– whatever your yields, the information you provide helps us develop best management practices, which you can use to improve your own yields. Stay tuned for winning yields. Winners will be announced at the Soybean Recognition Banquet held on December 7, 2016.

Last year, close to 350 farmers submitted Soybean Yield Contest entries in ten categories. Yields across all of the categories ranged from 22 to 106 bushels per acre.

Each first-place winner receives a $2,000 cash prize and up to $2,000 for a non-transferable trip to the 2017 Commodity Classic in San Antonio, TX. The second place winner in each category receives a $1,500 cash prize, and the third place winner in each category receives a $1,000 cash prize. All Entrants completing harvest forms receive two banquet tickets and are entered into a drawing for $2,000 worth of prizes.
