SD Farmer, David Iverson was reelected as Chairman of the WISHH organization. WISHH is a program that works to find new opportunities for U.S. soy by meeting nutritional needs in developing countries.
South Dakota Farmer Sees U.S. Soy in Action on Africa Trip
David Iverson, a South Dakota farmer from Astoria, is in Africa this week showcasing the benefits of soy. Through his work as chairman of the South Dakota Soybean Checkoff and chair of the American Soybean Association’s WISHH Committee, David hopes to help spur market development for soy by sharing it’s nutritional value with people in Africa.
Bainbridge Family Welcomes International Visitors to Their Farm
This week, the Bainbridge family from Ethan, S.D., welcomed Chinese pork producers to their South Dakota farm. The evening kicked off with a farm tour, where the Bainbridge’s shared production practices and quality information with the group.
