The South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council (SDSRPC) and Hungry for Truth invite South Dakota farmers to a workshop focused on empowering them to effectively connect with consumers about their farming practices.
The workshop, “Tackling Tough Conversations – How to Talk to Consumers About Food and Farming,” will allow farmers to learn what it takes to earn consumer trust and receive training on how to engage with consumers on tough topics pertaining to food and farming. The workshop will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sheraton Sioux Falls and Convention Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Lunch will be provided.
Created in partnership with the Center for Food Integrity, the workshop is part of SDSRPC’s Hungry for Truth initiative, which focuses on fostering conversations between farmers and consumers about how food is grown and raised in South Dakota.
