Jordan Scott

District At Large, President
Jordan Scott Vertical 300x300

Jordan Scott is a soybean and corn farmer from near Sioux Falls, SD. Jordan initially joined the SDSA board in 2017 through the American Soybean Association’s Young Leader Program and now serves as an At Large Director. Jordan worked in jewelry sales before he moved home to farm full time with his dad. He enjoys attending meetings and taking on learning opportunities that help him improve as a farmer and as a leader.

Jordan and his wife, Samantha, have one son named Lincoln. When he’s not working, Jordan can be found on the golf course or taking in a Cubs game with his wife. Jordan is also active on the trustee board of his church.

When asked why he wanted to serve on the SDSA Board of Directors, he said:

“I grew up with my Dad being active in SDSA and now on the national level with ASA. I have seen the hard work he has put in and the results it produced, not just for our farm, but for other farmers also. I was drawn into being an advocate for soybean farmers due to that. I feel that the work we do is vital to the profitability and sustainability of all SD soybean farmers.”
